Connect with nature through mindful photography



How would you feel if you could learn to explore the dreams and thoughts in your head through an image taken out from nature and your daily life? What if rather than filling your phone with meaningless photos you wait for the right shot to click into that one moment in time that will connect you with your feelings and all senses?


Finding your true self through the vision of your lens, and creating mindful photography using the intuition of your emotions, allows you to be present in the moment. The goal is not to create perfection with techniques or professional equipment, but rather to create things without judgment, as these images will represent a special feeling that only you can describe.


Being present in the moment is something we forget about doing as we get caught in the speed of everyday life.
When utilizing photography for mindfulness you might be able to find moments of connection with your inner-self and the beauty of nature and take pleasure in the quiet things that you enjoy. Connect in a deeper way with the world around you. Be mindful of every second and the quietness around us. While I use photography as part of my job, using it in an artistic way is a spiritual practice that keeps me grounded in what really matters and I want to share that with you.

Color is one of the most powerful elements. It has tremendous expressive qualities to help you define a mood or feeling. Understanding the uses of color is crucial to effective composition in design, arts and photography

The elements of a picture are what shapes an image. The way we arrange the elements in the frame is what ultimately will enhance the photo. We will learn about Balance, space, symmetry, repetition, motion, scale, framing,



SETTINGS





Although this class is not intended for professional purposes, the right use of our camera will help you achieve better images, I will provide an introduction to raw quality vs jpg, Speed, aperture, angles, and other important features of photography.
