I don't take pictures, I immortalize a moment through my lens. Part of My PICS Journey is to be able to capture the beauty of the world through my camera “Watching at those eyes, wondering what kind of pain they hide behind their clothing, it is what motivates me to know more. Telling a story through a portrait is my aspiration, saying words that can not be spoken but can be heard through the eyes is my goal.” I fell in love with Dubai, so I am going back to the desert that captivated my heart. I have always thought that being a teacher is something that requires to have a true passion for it, since it is a difficult task to educate young children and most importantly requires a big amount of patience and dedication to provide each child a personalized learning experience. Not everyone is the same and some may require more attention while other ones just need to be guided. Even thought I have taught in diverse occasions since my early years, I have never consider myself a teacher, but rather someone who has a passion to share what I know. If each one of us would share something that we know, whether is a trade, a technique, a skill, we could all have more tools in life to have more opportunities. Opportunities are awaiting for those who are willing to learn and open their mind to new things. Sharing my passion for art is a way to motivate others to step out of their comfort zone and do something they never thought they could do. This is intended to be just a little introspect of what one self set as a difficult when in reality sometimes all we need is a little push in the right direction. We are capable of anything we set our minds to do, this is the message that I want to convey to the children and if in the process helps at least one of them, then I would consider myself to have done my job.

My PICS Journey Updated: Apr 15 My journey of self discovery begun when PICS was born. As its meaning Paint, Inspire, Create, Socialize takes me across the seas and beyond the borders to share my blessings with others, wherever art takes me, I will be there, reassuring that with love and creativity there are no barriers for religions, languages or cultures. Nothing like feeling the sand between your toes Embarking on a mission of self discovery and reinventing my own self through the power of art in all of its forms is something I have been waiting for and no longer can hold back. I am passionate about what I do and it goes beyond a photo or a canvas every other week. When the core value drives you, one must help define who you are and who you aim to be. Hitting my 40's has taught me that times flies and if we keep waiting for the right moment that might never get here. So the time is NOW! “Find your purpose, follow your dreams, whatever is you want to do, just do it, the worst thing that can happen is that they don't turn out the way you wanted but at least you could be proud to say that you tried.” I have been lucky enough to live in different countries of the world and that has opened my eyes to new realities, some good some others not so good but at the end, all of them have provided me with a life lesson. I want to keep learning and during the process of this journey bring to you the views and challenges that other cultures have to face. Fears will no hold me prisoner of my dreams, Introspection will help me heal from the challenges I face.
